A T12 plan needs more than a headline unlock total. Separate the research path, building prerequisites and the cost of producing or promoting the troops you intend to use. This article does not establish a complete current-patch budget.
What the stored data establishes
HQ has a community-sourced troop snapshot collected on 6 July 2026. Its T12 training, promotion and research sections do not all have the same evidence quality: some rows are single-source or derived.
The old article treated a partial research summary as an all-in unlock cost and omitted other requirements. Those headline numbers have been removed from this guide. A stored value is evidence of the snapshot, not proof of what your game currently requires.
Build a complete checklist
Before treating a plan as ready, record:
- Your current state progression and the troop type you are considering.
- The Furnace, camp and War Academy requirements shown in game.
- Every prerequisite research node, its current level and target level.
- All listed resources and materials, with their exact names and units.
- Research time separately from troop training or promotion time.
- The number and existing tier of troops you intend to produce or promote.
Check whether a quoted total covers one node, a whole research path, or all prerequisites. Keep the cost of the unlock separate from the cost of using it.
Use calculators within their limits
The Troop Training calculator can help compare its supported stored rows and quantities. Its source notes and limits still apply; do not infer a complete T12 unlock plan from a training estimate.
The War Academy-labelled tool currently contains ordinary research summaries, not a complete Helios or Molten ladder. It cannot validate this guide's missing prerequisite chain.
Choose goals, not a universal troop order
This guide does not recommend one troop type first, a guaranteed combat outcome or a fixed gear-versus-T12 priority. Ask an experienced organizer to review your intended role, existing troops and actual game screens.
Chief Gear and Fire Crystal buildings are separate systems. Compare their real requirements rather than treating them as one “FC gear” budget.
Check the current mission before assuming training or promotion will score in an event. The SvS checklist is a reference, not a promise that delaying every promotion is beneficial.
What still needs review
Complete unlock and promotion screens, missing prerequisites, source-table accuracy and combat-role recommendations require an actual reviewer. No purchase recommendation, current top-tier claim or completion timeline is established here.
